The University is currently enhancing the structure and outreach of the scholarship, alongside ongoing efforts to establish the Machakos University Endowment Fund as a sustainable financing mechanism to support scholarships and institutional development.
The University is actively pursuing collaborations to optimize the utilization of its assets, including the development of student hostels and integrated projects in partnership with key stakeholders. These initiatives are aligned with the broader goal of improving student welfare while generating additional revenue streams to support the University’s long-term sustainability.

The Chancellor commended Prof. Agalo for her exemplary leadership and the remarkable progress being realized across the University. He expressed satisfaction with the strategic direction taken and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the University in strengthening partnerships, expanding opportunities for students, and enhancing its national and global impact.
