Partnership between Machakos University and MPESA Foundation

Machakos University was chartered on 7^th October 2016. Its core mandate is to Teach, Research and Community Service.

Among its programs are: TVET (Technical Vocational Education and Training) Diploma level in various fields such as Engineering, Business Studies, Fashion Design and Hospitality.

The Vice- Chancellor, Prof. Joyce J. Agalo led the team from Machakos University in hosting the officers from MPESA Foundation led by Nicholus Wechuli (Project Manager) and gave the opening remarks for the meeting held on 28^th April 2025.

MPESA Foundation is an independent charitable trust dedicated to creating empowered communities by assisting them reach their full potential, including their projects on education, health, environmental conservation, and integrated livelihood development. In an effort to continue with this vision, they are looking forward to having a partnership with Machakos University having a focus on TVET programs.

The University is in the process of submitting a proposal for consideration by the Foundation.
